A Little About Me

Curt Chaffin, M.D., received his undergraduate degree from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. Dr. Chaffin attended the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis and received his medical degree in 1997. Subsequently, he trained in Pediatrics at T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital, Chattanooga, where he was Chief Resident. He completed his Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Chaffin is an affiliated clinical instructor for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga Unit, in the department of pediatrics. Dr. Chaffin is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He spent three years as a pediatrician at the Dodson Avenue/Alton Park Health Centers in Chattanooga. Dr. Chaffin also participated in short term medical missions in Haiti, Nicaragua, Papua New Guinea, and St. Lucia prior to completing his fellowship program. He joined us in July of 2006.
